St. Basil Scholarship Fund

Our Mission

The St. Basil Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to K–12 students for qualified elementary or secondary education expenses. The Fund supports students attending Eastern Orthodox schools or students from Eastern Orthodox families attending certain schools (including some home schools).

Beginning in 2027, a new federal tax credit will allow many Americans to potentially contribute up to $1,700 to these scholarships at net zero cost. Read more on our page about the tax credit. We are currently working to become eligible for operation in various states by 2027.

By providing scholarships, we pray that more students will have a classical, liberal, and integrative education that awakens wonder, kindles a love of learning, sharpens discernment, produces good citizens, gives birth to love, leads to worship, and reintegrates fallen humanity.
